Tide pool 5: Aliens amongst us

I just finished this painting, or at lest I think it's finished. This is one of the paintings I did in South Carolina last month. It was a 'fail' so that means it was  ready for experamenting on.

It's been cut up, painted over, collaged on and at last I'm sorta happy...

The subject is some of our beach finds. I miss my beach walks, sigh. 

I thought the the crab 'skeleton' was other worldly looking so the working title has been 'aliens amongst us'. What do you think?
