lots of news, not much art

Well I've spent too much time again this week noodling with the painting of Heather. I've absolutely got to put the varnish on or I'll fiddle for ever (smile).
I have good news and not so good news. The Hen's Tooth has closed their doors, which is a loss to the many artist's who put work in there, and to the community in general.
The good news is that the summer art festival/show season is about to begin and is going to be busier than ever.
So far I'm booked for, The Port Stanley Guild show, June 13,14,15. The Belmont Garden walk/Art in the Park June 22, St Thomas Art Fest Elgin July 26, Iron Horse Festival
St Thomas Aug 21,22,23,24, Dorchester Art Show Oct 25, and the Art Before Christmas St Thomas Nov 21,22,23. Whew!!
Of course London Art in The Park is on Every Sunday (weather permitting) in Springbank park at the Byron Gate. I'll be doing that on dates to be announced.
The Charity Auction is on an unannounced date in June and my piece for it is due next week so I better get into my studio, because it's barely begun. Very unlike me, I normally have these things done way in advance. To Work!
